Canadian Firearms Safety Course

To legally possess a non-restricted or restricted firearm in Canada you must complete this course to acquire the “Possession Acquisition Licence” also known as a (PAL). Mandatory 8 hour learning but restricted can be 4 hours if taken within 7 days of completing the Non-Restricted.

Non-Restricted: Every Saturday from 8:00am-6:00pm

Restricted: Every Sunday from 8:00am-6:00pm

Reloading Basics

Want to learn how to make your own ammunition, what sort of equipment you need and what the costs are? Come take the reloading basics course and make inert cartridges to understand the process.

Woman’s Marksmanship Workshop

This is an excellent introductory to using a firearm. Starting with in class instructions, you will learn how to be range safe, use a scope, and how to handle a firearms safely using the indoor electronic laser rifle made by EcoAim. This piece of equipment is used to train Olympians in shooting sports. From there we will graduate to the outdoors to shoot live firearms on the gun range.

In The Class

  • Safe firearms handling

  • Ballistics - How to understand the flight of a bullet for sighting in a firearm.

  • Bore sighting a new firearm.

  • Using the EcoAim system (electronic laser rifle) designed for Olympic shooters.

On The Range

  • Shoot a .22 rimfire rifle with a scope (No Recoil)

  • Shoot a 30-30 centerfire rifle with open sights (Cowboy Rifle)

  • Shoot a 12 gauge shotgun at clay pigeons.
